Director, Distance Learning and Instructional Technology (DLIT) Mr. Ambrose Arinaitwe is the Director of Distance Learning and Instructional Technology of Cavendish University Uganda in which role he leads and coordinates Distance learning via the Cavendish University -Learning Portal. He works closely with the Academic and Operational teams to ensure an efficient digitally enabled IT environment and is responsible for both the short-term and long-term ICT needs of the University. Mr. Arinaitwe is a certified Microsoft Systems Engineer and Cisco Certified Network Associate whose experience spans over 12 years having worked as the ICT Manager at Cavendish University Uganda overseeing all ICT needs of the University; Databank Manager in charge of Examination database systems, Network Administration and configuration as well as an IT Lecturer at Kampala International University. Mr. Arinaitwe holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Kampala International University, proficiency certificates in MSCE, MCDBA, MCSA, MCP from Microsoft and CCNA from Makerere University.
