Two 2nd year Law students were fully sponsored (air tickets, accommodation, meals etc.) to participate in the World Trade Organization Moot Competition from the 24th to 26th April, 2019.
Cavendish University Uganda was one of the 13 competing Universities among which only 2 were from Uganda (Makerere University and Cavendish). Others were from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, Tanzania, Kenya and Nigeria. The Competition was organized by WTO and jointly sponsored by more than 40 institutions notably the European Law Students’ Association, George Town Law School, and 2 Kenyan Law Firms Lumumba Advocates and Mohammed &. Mohammed.
The top 4 slots were taken by Kenyan Universities which shall proceed to Geneva for the international round.
