The Quality Assurance Director of Cavendish University Uganda, Mr. Michael Okopa represented the Institution at the 9th Annual forum of the East African Higher Education Quality Assurance Network that took place from 06th – 10th May, 2019.
“Competence based learning for achieving sustainable development goals,” was the theme of the forum and the key note speaker was Dr. Bajwa Nida from Saarland University, Germany, who encouraged Universities to focus on closing the skills and attitudes gap instead of only imparting theoretical knowledge. 32 parallel papers were presented sharing experiences on Quality issues from Universities in East Africa.
