CUU Alumnus Awarded Honorary Doctorate for Impacting Lives



Balaam Barugahara, a Cavendish University Uganda (CUU) graduate was on 21st February 2023 awarded an honorary doctorate in humanity from Zoe Life Theological College, USA for changing and impacting the lives of Ugandans. This was during the College’s 2nd Graduation ceremony held at Sheraton, Kampala.

Zoe Life Theological College recognized Balaam Barugahara for his vast contribution to the socio-economic transformation of Uganda through his businesses and philanthropy that have impacted lives within and across the Ugandan borders.

Balaam is an events manager and entrepreneur. He graduated from Cavendish University Uganda with an MBA- Marketing and from Makerere University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, specialising in Marketing. He is the proprietor of Balaam Marketing & Promotion Agency among other businesses such as two radio stations in Uganda and South Sudan, a Water Bottling company in Juba, a hotel in Masindi, and many others.

The Zoe Life Theological College is an accredited theological education arm of Zoe Life Church International Fellowship Ministry inc. Philadelphia, pa .19139 USA. The school, founded by Archbishop Dr. Ambrose Joseph Milner, has trained many tested servants of God in America, Africa and other continents of the world.
