RE: Transport Arrangements from Seyani, Nsambya to Mukono Campus

I hope your semester has started well, with smooth online classes and that some of you have already visited or settled near our new Mukono Campus. Below are the transport arrangements organised by the University for the Health Sciences Department.

As previously communicated, the Health Sciences Department has relocated to Mukono. Starting Monday, 10th February 2025, all classes for programmes under the department—BPH, MPH, BEHS, ADHLM, and HEC (Physical and Biological Sciences)—will be held at Mukono Campus. Online cohorts will also be taught by lecturers based at Mukono.

New Campus Details:

  • Location: Upper Kauga, Kauga Centre, Mukono Municipality

Travel Arrangements:

  • Departure: Vehicles will leave the main campus at Seyani, Nsambya daily at 7:30 am (except Wednesdays).
  • Return: Departure from Mukono will be at 5:00 pm (subject to changes communicated on-site).
  • Contact: For travel-related concerns, reach Mr. Allan Jude Batalyebwa, the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) at ajbatalyebwa@cavendish.ac.ug or +256 (0) 707 555 608.

Students accessing the campus privately will receive directions and a Google Location Pin from the Dean of Students, Programme Coordinators (PCs), or the SPOC.

Our team, including PCs Ms. Khawa Namajja (+256 (0)779 696 367) and Mr. Ivan Mugumya (+256 (0)773 067 418), will be available at Mukono to assist you. For further inquiries, contact the Health Sciences Department.

I look forward to seeing you at Mukono as you learn, collaborate, and thrive.

Success Begins at Cavendish!
