Nsubuga Deo is a public health Lecturer with specialization in Biostatistics and Epidemiology and over six years of experience in higher education. He teaches and develops curricula in key public health subjects including Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Demography and population dynamics as well as health policy. His teaching majorly focuses on building analytical skills, data interpretation and evidence-based decision-making in health care.
His PHD research interest aligns with analytical epidemiology focusing on understanding health care access disparities and evaluating the impact of public health interventions using robust statistical methods. He has led and contributed to studies that inform disease prevention strategies, health policy and program effectiveness.
Additionally, he brings seven years of practical experience in M&E, HMIS, QI&QA and PPM. He is passionate about using data-driven approaches to; detect health system defects, strengthen health systems and support public health practice.
