Kayima Moses Nyanzi Drago is an East African lawyer with experience in legal consultancy, research, and teaching in Uganda and Rwanda. He is committed to promoting Constitutional Law and Human Rights, shaping the future of legal practice, and educating the next generation of legal minds in East Africa.
His legal journey began at Cavendish University Uganda, where he honed skills through moot court competitions, debates, and peer tutoring. He has been educated under the Common and Civil law practice jurisdictions of Uganda (Law Development Center – LDC), and Rwanda (Institute of Legal Practice & Development – ILPD), and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Law & Justice from Fordham University as a Vivian Leitner Global South LL.M. Scholar. Through these experiences, he discovered a passion for litigation, teaching, and learning.
He is currently a lecturer at Cavendish University Uganda’s Faculty of Law. Moses is committed to shaping the next generation of legal professionals and fostering innovation in legal education. His professional aspirations include furthering his impact in law, diplomacy, and political science, with a focus on promoting peace and human rights across East Africa.
