Eligibility & Requirements:

Academic Requirements:

1. Any student with either 1 Principle Pass or 2 subsidiaries
2. Admitted to either HEC Physical or HEC Biological at Cavendish University Uganda

Bursary Eligibility:

1. Age between 18 – 25 years for Ugandans and 18 – 30 years for Refugees
2. Born and resident in specific districts (listed below)
3. Applying for STEM programmes
4. Completed Form Six in 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024
5. Not a current beneficiary of any other bursary scheme
6. Applicants with special needs, refugees, HIV /AIDS infected or affected, and orphaned (lost either 1 or 2 parents) are encouraged to apply

Target Districts:

Abim, Adjumani, Agago, Amudat, Amuria, Amuru, Bududa, Bukwo, Bulisa, Bundibugyo, Buyende, Kaabong, Kaberamaido, Kalungu, Kampala, Kamwenge, Kanungu, Kasanda, Kasese, Katakwi, Kikuube, Kiryandongo, Kole, Kotido, Kween, Lamwo, Luuka, Manafwa, Mayuge, Moroto, Moyo, Mubende, Mukono, Nakapiripiriti, Nabilatuk, Namayingo, Napak, Nebbi, Ntoroko, Nwoya, Obongi, Otuke, Pader, Pallisa, Terego, Tororo, Wakiso, Isingiro, and Yumbe.

Application Process:

1. Application forms can be picked up from FAWE in Bukoto or the District Education Office in the operational districts.
2. Deadline for applying is May 15 th 2025.
