Unlock Your Future: HEAC Program 2026/2027 is Open!

Are you a bright young Ugandan or refugee aspiring to pursue a STEM career? The HEAC Programme is once again offering a life-changing opportunity with 400 bursaries for the 2026/2027 academic year at Cavendish University! We especially encourage female applicants (80% of bursaries).

 

Who Should Apply?

  • UACE holders (2022-2025) with at least 1 Principal Pass or 2 Subsidiary Passes in principal subjects.
  • Admitted for direct entry into a STEM-related course at Cavendish University.
  • Ugandan nationals (18-30) or refugees/Persons with Disabilities (18-30).
  • Born in and currently residing in one of our targeted districts (even if you sat UACE elsewhere).
  • Not receiving any other bursary.
  • Applicants with special needs, refugees, those affected by HIV/AIDS, or orphans are highly encouraged.
  • Individuals committed to community development.

    • District Education Officers (DEOs) in targeted regions
    • Refugee settlements in targeted regions
