CUU Guild donates to Nsambya babies home

The CUU Guild together with the reigning Miss Cavendish on Saturday 31st March 2018, visited Nsambya Babies home and donated goodies worth millions to the home. In line with the Cavendish Mission of educating and developing responsible citizens, the event was well received and applauded by the Catholic community speared by the Child Welfare and Adoption Society – a Christian non-government organization that advocates for children and promotes the care of vulnerable ones to grow into responsible adults.

The event was part of the CUU Guild Easter Community outreach engagement under the leadership of both the Guild Vice President – Tan and Miss Cavendish 2017. A number of students participated and requested that this becomes an annual event on the CUU community outreach calendar.

The next CUU Guild Community engagement shall be at the end of this month and will involve a cleaning exercise within the Kamwanyi community village. This shall be a joint engagement with KCCA , the village leadership and the area Member of Parliament.

The Guild conveys its appreciation of your continued support. Please find attached pictorial images that commemorated the day.
