24th January 2025

All Students in the Health Sciences Department,

Cavendish University Uganda.

Dear Students,

RE: MOVE OF HEALTH SCIENCES DEPARTMENT TO MUKONO CAMPUS

Happy New Year, and welcome again to the new semester.

Starting this semester, the Health Sciences Department will be based at our newly established Campus at Mukono. All classes for programmes under the Health Sciences Department, namely BPH, MPH, BEHS, and HEC—Physical and Biological Sciences, will take place at Mukono.

This decision was made to significantly enhance your learning experience by providing access to the state-of-the-art facilities and resources available at the new Campus, thereby improving the quality of your education.

Details of the New Campus

Location: Upper Kauga, Kauga Centre, Mukono Municipality.

Facilities: Modern lecture halls, laboratories, and a library, as well as a beautiful, green environment and a more conducive learning environment.

Travel Arrangements

The university has made transport arrangements to facilitate your transition, which I will communicate before the due date. The Dean of Students and the Programme Coordinators (PCs) will give directions and share a Google Location PIN with students who wish to access the Campus privately.
