In a significant visit to Cavendish University Uganda on February 28, Her Worship Gladys Kamasanyu, Chief Magistrate of the Uganda Wildlife Court, addressed law students at the Faculty of Law. The visit highlighted the importance of legal awareness in wildlife protection and emphasised the role of future lawyers in safeguarding the environment.
During her address, Her Worship Gladys Kamasanyu underscored the need for legal professionals to be at the forefront of environmental conservation efforts. She encouraged students to use their legal knowledge to advocate for wildlife protection and uphold the rule of law in this critical area. She encouraged Law students to get exposed to Wildlife protection laws and take up this discipline as a path for their future careers.
