The CUU faculty congratulates Dr. Faith Ahabyona, a lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Management upon graduating with a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Accounting and Finance from Mbarara University of Science & Technology (MUST) on 24th April, 2021.
Dr. Ahabyona becomes the second lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Management to get a doctoral degree in this year (2021).
The topic of her research was; “Credit Facilitation Decisions for Financial Performance; The case of Agricultural Cooperatives in Western Uganda”. As part of her contribution, Dr. Ahabyona developed a decision enhancement credit facilitation approach that is currently supporting 500 co-operators in Kamwenge and Sheema Districts. The approach has enhanced the ability of co-operators to receive, give and manage credit.
Over 1,200 students graduated from Mbarara University of Science & Technology at its 27th Graduation ceremony.
