Special recognition and congratulations to the CUU pioneer students to have joined and successfully passed their Post Graduate Bar course at the Law Development Centre (LDC).
On the 06th of June 2022, the Board of Examiners at the Law Development Centre released provisional results for the 2020/21 and previous academic years, where former students of Cavendish University Uganda (CUU); Joel Kanyerezi, Kato Paul Mukasa, Alad Angella and Bushendik Patrick featured prominently having passed with merit.
LDC noted a remarkable improvement in performance, particularly on the Bar Course, compared to the last academic year. CUU graduates from the Faculty of Law were among the candidates who passed the Bar Course with merit for the academic years; 2020/21 and 2019/20.
Cavendish University Uganda has 17 other students currently enroled at LDC.
Law Development Centre offers a contemporary Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice commonly referred to as the Bar Course. The course aims at preparing students to play their role as legal practitioners, develop a sense of social responsibility and an appreciation for the need for legal aid, as well as the ability to practice in a versatile legal environment with the relevant knowledge and practical skills.
The graduands are set to Graduate during the 49th Graduation ceremony at LDC to be held on the 29th of July 2022.
