May Intake Ongoing
The Careers and Employability Office understands how stressful it can be to be trying to figure out what to do after
Cavendish, alongside a demanding Masters course. Our approach is to try and save you time and maximise your
chances of success. Conscious that you are short of time, we can help you whether you have no idea of what to do
after Cavendish, or a few unkempt ideas, or even a clear idea, but not how to start.
The Careers and Employability Office can give you access to a 1 on 1 guidance and consultation. You can book
your spot on-line by sending an email to employability@cavendish.ac.ug attend careers and employability
workshops, briefings, fairs and employer presentations. Make sure you tell us what stage you are at and what you
are interested in and the consultant will tailor information for you.
Our Careers and Employability Essentials programme comprises of a selection of sessions, offering you the
opportunity to access careers and employability advice, and recruitment advice from our careers advisers, at a time
to suit you.
In the August Semester, we prioritise final year students in terms of getting an appointment with a Careers
Consultant. However, if you have a query do drop-in or attend the virtual coaching webinar series. We shall try our
best to help.
Remember that you can use the Careers and Employability Services even after you graduate.
