The Master of Information Technology (MIT) degree programme is intended to:
- Expose the student to techniques of scientific writing and publication.
- Provide students with a basis for understanding computing concepts necessary to adopt in the IT-based programme.
- Impart knowledge and skills to students in IT governance and outsourcing.
- Equip students with cognitive skills such as those analysis, synthesis, creativity, and evaluation.
- Prepare students to participate in managing IT projects.
- Introduce the students to statistical techniques that can be used to analyse causality and correlation relationships between research variables.
