Career Objectives



The Master of Information Technology (MIT) degree programme is intended to:

  1. Expose the student to techniques of scientific writing and publication.
  2. Provide students with a basis for understanding computing concepts necessary to adopt in the IT-based programme.
  3. Impart knowledge and skills to students in IT governance and outsourcing.
  4. Equip students with cognitive skills such as those analysis, synthesis, creativity, and evaluation.
  5. Prepare students to participate in managing IT projects.
  6. Introduce the students to statistical techniques that can be used to analyse causality and correlation relationships between research variables.
