The Cavendish International Journal of Science and Technology (CIJST), published by Cavendish University Uganda, invites researchers, academics, practitioners, innovators, and postgraduate scholars to submit original and high-quality manuscripts for consideration in its December 2026 issue.

CIJST provides a multidisciplinary platform for the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge that contributes to research, professional practice, innovation, and sustainable development.

Scope and Areas of Interest

CIJST welcomes manuscripts across a broad range of scientific and technological disciplines, including:

• Life and Physical Sciences

• Health Sciences

• Computer Sciences and Technology

• Environmental Health Sciences and Technology

• Biological Sciences

• Applied Mathematics

• Chemical Sciences and Technology

Priority will be given to manuscripts presenting original evidence, innovative ideas, practical solutions, or new perspectives with potential to strengthen science and technology, entrepreneurship, policy, professional practice, or development outcomes.

Manuscript Types

The journal welcomes the following types of manuscripts:

• Original Research Articles

• Review Articles

• Short Communications

• Book Reviews

• Forum Articles

Submission Requirements

Authors should ensure that:

• Manuscripts are written in English, clearly presented, scholarly, and appropriately referenced.

• Submitted work is original, previously unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.

• Authors follow the CIJST manuscript formatting requirements.

• Where applicable, manuscripts include information on ethical approval, informed consent, conflicts of interest, funding, and other relevant research-integrity considerations.

Manuscripts should be submitted online through the Cavendish International Journal of Science and Technology submission system:

When you open the journal website, click About, then proceed to the Submission section to submit your manuscript.

Peer Review and Editorial Process

All eligible submissions will undergo editorial screening followed by peer review.

Manuscripts will be processed on a rolling basis as they are received. Authors are therefore strongly encouraged to submit early. Editorial decisions may include acceptance, revision, resubmission, or rejection, depending on the outcome of the review process.

Important Dates

Early submission is strongly encouraged, as peer review will begin immediately after manuscripts are received.

Publication in the December 2026 issue is subject to successful peer review, timely completion of revisions, and final editorial approval.
