
Deputy Vice Chancellor
Associate Professor Olutayo K. Osunsan is currently serving as the Deputy Vice Chancellor: Academics and Student Affairs at Cavendish University Uganda. He is a distinguished academic, administrator, and author.
Prof. Osunsan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Management Science (Business Management), a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management, a Bachelor of International Business Administration, and several other professional certifications.
With a career spanning over two decades in academia, Prof. Osunsan has held various academic and administrative roles, including Research Coordinator at Cavendish University Uganda, Director of the School of Postgraduate Studies and Research at Africa Renewal University, and Deputy Principal and Dean of Business in the College of Economics and Management Sciences at Kampala International University. He has taught and served as an external examiner at several universities, including Cavendish University, Africa Renewal University, Victoria University, Kampala International University, Kabale University, and Busoga University, among others.
A prolific scholar, Prof. Osunsan has made significant contributions to management science, entrepreneurship, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and organisational behaviour. His academic output includes numerous journal articles, books, and book chapters. Additionally, he has supervised a wide range of theses at the PhD, master’s, and bachelor’s levels.
Beyond academia, Prof. Osunsan has also contributed to community initiatives. He served as the Vice Chairperson of the Executive Committee for the Children’s Sport Charity Academy (CSCA) from 2019 to 2022 and is a member of the Society of Christian Scholars.
